Following the announcement of a sponsorship deal worth a reported £150 million with Arsenal, Puma have revealed that one of their priorities is to help manager Arsene Wenger overcome his troublesome zip problem.

While the Frenchman is often calmness personified when addressing the media, he has been sighted on several occasions becoming increasingly agitated on the Emirates bench as he fiddles with a pesky zip that refuses to behave itself, in a tussle that dwarves Le Professeur’s bust-ups with Sir Alex Ferguson.

Nike, the Gunners former kit manufacturers, foolishly focused their efforts on designing sharp numbers for the team to don, but Puma have changed tact and will look to address the issue of Wenger’s zip, which is a vital cog in Arsenal’s operation that has been ignored for too long.

Although some suggest the issue is due to the sheer size and sleeping bag appearance of Wenger’s coat, while others blame cold fingers, Puma have vowed to put an end to affair after an exchange on Twitter.
