After the completion of ten games, Bishop’s School Camp (Group N), Bharati Vidyapeeth, Balewadi (Group E) and Vibgyor High, Balewadi (Group E) joined Spicer Memorial (Group J) in the knockouts along with the nine teams who qualified during the first two days.
Interestingly, Daniel even turned out to be the youngest player to feature and score in the competition so far. Moreover, he was also the only Under-10 player to score on Day 3.
Meanwhile, the clash between Bishop’s Kalyaninagar and SKF Sports Education School ‘B’ turned out to be the match of the day. With both teams scoring at regular intervals, they ended up sharing eleven goals. However, despite Imran Shaikh striking four times for SKF, braces from Daksh Upadyay and Sai Sharan handed Bishop’s a narrow win in Group J.
Elsewhere in Group E, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Balewadi topped the group and Vibgyor High, NIBM came second to qualify for the knockout from the four-team group. The duo was separated only on goal difference having collected six points from three games.
Meanwhile, in Group N’s only game Loyola High School defeated Bishop’s Camp 4-1 after extra time to qualify for the knockouts.
